Yikes!!!!!!!

Mistakes...Penalties....lack of enthusiasm = Loss

Gave up alot of big plays and generated no spark. Disappointing evening.

Was a bizarre occurance when the stadium went dark, I mean pitch black for about 10 seconds before the emergency lighting kicked on. Only the glow of cell phones was a little eerie.

Pic from my seat on the cell phone attached below before the blackout.

Did you catch the end of the Jaguars game?

Anyway, I hope your team faired better...

Angus, I was right there with you feeling your pain and the spookieness of the totally dark stadium. I could only think of Dandy Don Meredith singing "Turn Out The Lights" on Monday Night Football.

I only get to one or two games a year so this was a big, expensive disappointment, but the weather & tailgating was good.

Re: Week 10 of the NFL

My picks were horrible, the Steelers were horrible - came out flat, no offensive line because of injuries, Ward hurt, just got flat beat. Was a little upsetting watching the Pats lay all kinds of fine inducing hits if it was the Steelers leading with the helmet ... we will see how many of them get fined tomorrow.

Bright side, the Bears won! Go Bears!

I think I only had 4 teams picked correctly! YIKES!

A cute, little Dolphin beat up on a Titon. :) Go fish. Bears eat fish don't they. Do they eat Dolphin? Find out Thursday.

I hate to say it, the Vikings season is over. Might be time to bench Brett and get Jackson primed for next year......

Agree with Angus. The Giants did not appear to want to win yesterday.

A deck swabbing is on the line here. :)
If the Dolphins win I'll come down to Florida in January and swab your deck.
If the Bears win you have to come to Illinois in January and help me shovel snow. :D

It's so hard to predict what bears team will show up every week. I don't know if I'd be making that bet either way.

I think my Cowboys just beat the Giants :D. They didn't have Tony Romo screwing up. They were playing inspired. Maybe they respected this coach more than the other one? Looks like the Coaching changed did them some good. Players said he put discipline back into their football world. They have the talent. Their defense played with a lot of injured players on the bench. Remains to be seen if they can keep the momentum going. I hope Tony Romo stays on the bench

As long s the season is over they may as well play Webb the rest of the season just to see what the kid has got. TJ I think is washed up. I doubt he will ever be a good QB. That is what they did with Daunte Cullpepper and it worked well for them for a couple of years.

If they are done with Favre then they should cut him. Ending his streak and benching him for the remainder of the season is just disrespectful for a legendary player of his stature.

My personal opinion is that they need to wait a few more weeks before they throw in the towel. Quitting before you are statistically eliminated goes against the spirit of the sport. It's a mans game after all. Getting a higher draft pick means so little in the NFL where superstars come out of the third round all the time.

Re: Week 10 of the NFL

Dallas, TX (AP) - A seven year old boy was at the center of a Dallas County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree reasonably possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Dallas Cowboys professional football team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Guess after Sunday the Judge is going to have to reconsider his ruling! :D:p

At some point reality needs to kick in. A "streak" or legendary status should have nothing to do with whether he's benched or not. How many times did he start a game with the Packers when he was too hurt to play just to keep the "streak" alive. Some of those times cost them the game. He currently has a busted up ankle and now a bad shoulder. I know Childress doesn't have the nads to bench him. Hopefully, someone higher up will make the decision.

I'm not saying he's a bad player. But, he will not be back next year. At some point the Vikes have to look to the future. I think that time is now....
