Re: Week 6 of the NFL
Right now, the Saints probably are the best team in the NFL, but that can change in a heartbeat.
A few weeks ago, I commented on how the Saints never seem to put together a great offense and defense at the same time. Now they have. Sharper has lit the defense on fire and is Brees' equivalent in leadership, on the D.
Fujita might be out this week though, and that's not good. We shall see who fills his shoes and how well he does!
Shane, if it makes you feel any better, trust me when I tell you that those of us in the NOLA know all about the baghead thing! Also, I lived in Fla. in the late 70s, when the Bucs were a new team, and we used to say that any half rate college team could beat them. They got to be pretty good much later on and are now in a slump again. That's the way the football rolls!
BTW, y'all, if the Saints win a SB, Ima go boating on Bourbon Street, 'cause I guarantee that the beer will be deep enough on the streets of the quarter to do so!
