Weight limit

I have a 1980 Cajun Mach III and cant find the weight limit for people and accessories on the boat . Does anyone know what it might be ??

You can go to the USCG site and get the formula they use. I can't remember exactly where it is on the site, maybe somebody has the link handy. It's what they and most manufacturers use for the plate data. The plates aren't anything legal that you must have as an owner so once you run the calcs you can make your own plate or just write it in a log book. I've only seen the CG check one boat with a tape measure and I think they only did it because the guy was being a real A...hole. By the time they got done with him he was pretty much confined to the parking lot. When the Highway Patrol showed up his trailer wouldn't pass either.

In other words, it's nothing you have to really sweat but from a saftety standpoint you should always keep within the results of the calcs for load and horsepower.
