Anyone know the weight of a SBC shortblock?

Would like to get my old block in the basement and disassemble.........to evaluate what happened and possibly build a stroker in my free time...:)

Two guys, one dolly. Going down is not to bad......Just make sure you secure the engine to the two wheeler;) .......coming up it may be a 3 man job. Depending on how far you build the engine.

Thats a long block. Heads, intake, balancer, and starter installed. No exhaust manifolds. If you remove the heads, pan, and crank, you can carry the rest of the block (at least I could -- when I was a tad younger).
