How much does a Bayliner Capri 180 (outboard version) 1990 model weigh.?
I currently have a Evinrude 225 hp on it but im thinking about swapping it for a Suzuki 100hp engine.Wondering what speeds im looking at with this engine.

Huh? You're going from a 225 to a 100 and want to know how fast she'll go:confused: I guess you could pretty much cut it in half would be my guess.
Actually the boat came from the factory with a 90 h.p. unit. Just find it hard to imagine that someone threw a 225 on it. Must be on a suicide mission or something. Your boat weighs in at 1490 - with the motor.
Anyhow with that 100 you should be running a good and decent 45 to 50 mph. But be forewarned - with that big ole' POS 225 on the back you might want to look for transom cracks.
Personally, it's a lot of work to swap those two motors out. Sell it to some speedster and get something a little more stock.:D

I will get rid of the 225 asap, but really, the boat performes fine with this motor and it looks kind of cool:)
