weird boating related dreams

hi folks, just wondering.
last couple of nights i've had some weird boating dreams.
first one i was dreaming i had an overheat of my engine, but the temp gauge was in the green, when i turned off the engine it went to pegged overheat. then after that my boat was on the trailer and it was rocking side to side. then finally tipped over on its side. it hit my house that was just outside my window. which i could see the concrete blocks most vividly through the window.

last night i dreamed i was in a left turn lane turning into a shopping center. i was kinda skewed in my lane making the left turn. when i did my trailer got unhitched. somehow i got it into a parking lot. i found my hitch had broke. since i was in the shopping center parking lot i went to the sears store to get a new receiver hitch. but when i came back someone had absconded my boat. they had it on their trailer not mine. then i remember driving wildly trying to get my boat off his trailer and on to mine. for some reason i decided (needed) to go home. walking. at 56th and O street. i was calling my dad (who died in 03) to come give me a ride home.. then i woke up...

pretty weird and most vivid... anyone else dream about their boat?

but i don't like pizza so don't eat much of that. now cookies on the other hand, ummmmm..... i can't imagine what sht i'd be doing prior to bedtime. usually last thing i do is check out 'the forum' iboats prior to going to bed....

surely i'm not the only one that has boating dreams....

i can remember another one i had too a week or so ago. my boat had filled with water in the driveway on the trailer. all the way to the top. the sides were under heavy stress. i wanted to get the water out, but couldn't figure how to do it w/o stressing the sides. i was afraid that my trailer was gonna give way so got my bailing bucket out and started to remove it one bucket at a time. can't remember how that one turned out...

Also, you have been abducted by aliens and are remembering your oppressed memories.

Finally, you are remembering a past life where you chased around a whale that caused you to loose half your leg. In the process, you loose your boat (capsizes "rocks side to side and tips over" then fills with water), and you die and see your relatives.

My trade is industrial fiberglass. So when I decided to get a boat I figured I would get a cheap one that needed work. I found the boat that I thought would be perfect and bought it. I put in a new transom, stringers and deck. I even re-finished the hull. It was easy for me as most industrial applications make boat work seem like cake. The problems started when I put the engine back in. It came with a Merc 470, which I thought was an engineering marvel compared to all the other I/O's I had looked at. As some know, 470's can have many issues if they were previously neglected. The engineering marvel turned to one of the biggest frustrations I have had trying to fix anything. I would get it to run good only to have it fail at the lake. Fix one thing and another would fail. It got so bad that all I would think about was that engine. I actually would have dreams where I thought I came up with solutions for issues (they never worked). I had dreams about breaking down in the lake. The embarrassing part is that I even had dreams about my wife heckling me about the boat. After some time I just sold the boat.
