Weird things you find in your boat

So this morning I went outside to uncover my boat and get it ready for a trip to the lake. After I uncovered it, I found someones Southpole brand shorts, a Texas Longhornes jersey, a newspaper from the 12th and the butt of a Swisher Sweet cigar. It would appear as though someone was hiding out in my boat under the cover. Nothing was taken or vandalized. Very odd.

My suspicion tells me that someone was running from someone else, hid in my boat and had someone else bring them a change of clothes and a newspaper so they could kill time while hiding.

I think its time to get a CCTV system installed.

That is definitely strange. I've only had my boat for a day, so I don't have any stories yet.

I found three kittens in my boat about three months ago. They were about 6 weeks old because they would eat solid food and they weren't there the week before so I know they weren't born in there. Someone must have dumped them. I'd like to find out who.

You should contact the local police. Someone may have been broken into and the PD might want to know.

My neighbor is a detective with the Sheriffs dept. I brought this to his attention and he checked it out with the Sherrifs and Police departments. No one has been wanted in my area. I guess it will remain a mystery.

Im not too worried. Whoever he was he didnt take anything and didn't vandalize the boat. I take all of the valuables out of the boat when it is parked next to the house.

I dont think he ever took the cover off. I believe he crawled in from the bow and just lifted the cover up to get in.

I'm 6'4" tall and 240lbs. Im not worried.:) That, and I have been dying to try out my new DRT 9mm ammo:D

http://drtammo.com/

Dang.....pretty powerful ammo. Here's a direct quote from the company:

"This technology allows for a one shot kill - you hit something in the body cavity, it will die."

I might have to get some for my 9mm.
