Well it is boat survey day ugh

Finnally got the boat pulled out last week, called down for insurance, and was informed our five year survey was up and I needed a new one.
One legs off to find the leak, the inside and out is dirty, needs a bottom coat touch up, and the guy's only available today for the next two weeks.
Next weekend is a long weekend, have to get it done.
I hope he has pitty on me, or a good sense of humour! :redface:

Well a little delamination on the inside fiberglass of the transom, solid on the back.
A strip of delamination between the two hatches on the roof of the cuddy.
Fuel lines to engines need to be changed out to a diffrent style
(fire retardent???) and I have to check and make sure it has anti siphon ends.
Need to put better tie down strap downs on the batteries.
Well I guess that's what you get from a 25 year old boat!

Always nice to have a second set of eyes looking out for you, kinda like here except we have thousands upon thousands watching for us.

Does your insurance cover the 'survey'? I would hope so, but in this day and age..well...

Nope, out of pocket $327.00.
Should be good for five years though, "I HOPE".
