I checked out the used boat listings on iboats and there are a total of 5 Starcraft aluminum hulls available. Cheapest one is $3900 and a couple are listed as "sold".

I'm not convinced we are competing with anyone at all...since the iboats listings are basically for "turn-key" rigs, not restoration candidates lacking a motor, interior and seaworthiness.

Yah, I am with ya. I have plenty of opinion but I'll keep that to myself, eh!

I cracked up when I saw CBK's post for "Starcraft on iboats". Just minutes before I was hunting on iboats to start up a brand new thread just like it! I sorta felt like I came up empty handed though. Not much to post I suppose.

I did see a few on clist today though! Not as much fun just eyeballing them by myself though. At the same time the peer pressure to buy one isn't there either, eh!

Neither Bob_VT nor I have any idea what happened to the Starcraft on Clist thread. It's not even showing up as deleted for us Mods. It's just plain gone. Feel free to start another one.
