yes sir it's a 1972 TR-150 very clean P.O. took realy good care of it just needs a little motor work.. and it's in the water. He had the floor and transom rebuilt with marine plywood and it comes with the 2 original seats he also has 3 swivil seats going with it and the canopy pole as well. has a swivel trailer with it.

And what is wrong with fiberglass Starcrafts? Some of us actually like them better than the Lummies! Granted, the older ones usually need transom, stringers & floor, but when done there ain't nothing like 'em! The American series hulls, of which I have two, are a well designed hull, run beautifully in chop, and perform great. Starcraft used the same hull design up into the 1990s with the Medalist series. After having had a kidney-crunching, teeth rattling Super Sport 16 for three seasons, I prefer the glass, thank you... ;)

I'm glad for my first one I got an aluminum, they are easier to work on. I could see for my next one a fiberglass, I'm trying to talk my bro into a Stinger. It was a Glasspar Gt 150, that's the James Bond one right? I started pushing for the American when I saw your boats. You've got some nice looking glass there Chine. My brother doesn't fish so a hot rod for the water would be so cool.

daltonxj make yourself at home. these guys are always looking to pick at someone. Open bow or closed bow, outboard or inboard. If it works for you it works for us. I'm one of the more mature Starmadians here so I'll welcome you.

Oh carp it's a Tri-Hull. I just noticed that.:eek::facepalm:

PS. By mature I really meant garden variety poop starter. Yea that's me.:redface:

Yeah I know Bwana Don. but if you notice I also own a tinny as well.. this Starcraft belongs to my brother-n-law.... was a nice find. We went to pick it up and the PO started pulling stuff from his little building saying I have this and this and this ect that go with it we where like HOLY $h!t..... it was the original seats... back sliding panels.... side boards.... we wher hoping for the top but no luck on that......also the center part for the lower part of the window the fiberglass piece... wich is in excelent condition.... I still love my 1979 16' Holiday!!!!

Re: Well saved another Starcraft!

Just giving you the business dalton. I think it's a really nice boat. Tri-hulls do have a tendency to porpoise in rougher water though. They are more stable than a deep V. I'm interested to see this puppy in action and find out how you like it. I'll bet it corners well.

One day I'll take the glass walk, if I find the right boat. Be that guy with the glass boat that sticks around here. Yea I'll still give ya a hard time but only cause I care.:p

:facepalm:

I was thinking Powercat 14C, circa 1958-9. I'll put twin Johnson 25 horses on it, or twin 18 horse Evinrude Fastwins.

You funny man barato. So funny, I laugh now.

NO, do not hold boat for me. I laugh some more.
