hello no upgrades until tomorrowwww the old drive cant be used has a hole on the transon assembly, the seats I found someone how is going to fixed for me and dont charge that much, I found a transon assembly with the inner plate all the hoses trim sensors, cilinders very good ND CLEAN FOR 500$, I just ordered today my new se116 complete outdrive, transon repair kit include the hoses clamps, bearing, installation kit incluing all the hardware, complete anode kit everything for 1400$. tomorrow Im going to pull out the old engine and the transom assembly I will post pictures.

Looks like that gimbal and plate assy is in nice shape!
make sure to replace that big old gasket!

how'd the rust removal from the gelcoat interior come out...get it figured yet? finished? PICS PICS! Im a photographer so I really like pics......and pushy one too....

well old engine didnt came out, the engine hoist wasnt high enough to reach try differents ways and nothing, very frustrating, next is to look for a old style boom tow truck to do the job, I disconnect everything from both engines so they ready to came out.

I used a great big oak tree when I hoisted my engine out.. a boom truck would be much better!

you're wll on your way now.....

how bout yankig the engine? may be a huge tree nearby, use chains or straps and a chin hoist or mega pulley....go up with engine...pull trailer out from under it all...
could use a strong garage beam/s too......

also...most dangerous but could work....put an engine hoist in the back of a pickup...back pickup to boat...hoist engine high...pull trailer out from under truck and lift...lower the eng hoist and engine to bottom max......get another hoist or use chain hoist from the eng hoist to engine, to lower eng to ground.....or onto a eng stand...good luck

forklift also works well

4x4 3 part triangular frame or a big upside down u shaped headframe 4x4s and big old cross beam! make sure it is supported well and wont tip either way!!!....use chain hoist lift and yank out trailer and boat from under it all

well a little update for the forum engine is out I paid a tow truck to take it out no major problems, I have to take out the damaged transom assembly and clean the bilge I will post pics

Great looking boat
New parts are always good. I never though of having a tow truck pull your engine. it's cheaper then buying a hoist. Great Idea.

After the engine is out of the way, scrub the bilge with soap, rinse and sand lightly, wipe down with acetone and let dry, then paint it with white interlux bilgecoat, it will help protect the wood.
I'm not a fan of wellcraft or bowriders but that really looks very nice.

$50 to have a tow truck lift it out.. fantastic! Heck, I think I paid $25 each way to rent a little uhaul trailer to take my engine from the place with the big oak tree to my house. It would've been much easier and safter to have paid $50 to a tow truck guy to do it right at my house!
