Wellcraft 96 Excel SX bowrider First Boarding boat

I am looking at a wellcraft excel 96 19sx hull with a mec 3.0 and a alpha one outdrive. standard prop nothing special. i am wondering if this is enough power.

I want to be able to wake and ski tube yada yada.. my last boat was a yami exciter 99 270hp and it flew but was smaller even though it was 17ft it didnt feel like a alot of room in it.

any feedback would be great, i want something that has some speed and has the ability to wakeboard. any feedback on this is much appreciated.

I am in tampa fl, also selling an R1 in awesome condition if anyone is interested. figured i would plug that.. might do no good on a boat site though LOL..

I know this is a few months old.. But I have the same boat and year. I love the boat, think it looks awesome, gets on plane very fast. Mine is a 4.3 but ive gone tubing with 8 people in the boat and it had more than enough power. As far as room on the boat, they really stuff seats in there. I pulled the seats out, cut the boxes down and put in custom pedestal seats.. Opened it up like crazy!
