Wellcraft Excel 23/24 Fish

I see a lot of these boats around here. There's even one two docks down in the lagoon here, and another down the street. I've been out fishing and have been within shouting distance of two others at once a few times. Who else has one? How do you like it? I just finished my first full season owning mine (pulled it out today) and I love it. <br /><br />Anyone else?

hi steve i bought mine new in october of 97 also have 97 ocean pro 200 hp johnson. had to replace power head in january of 98 factory paid for it. i now have 800 hours on it and have had no more trouble just regular matience. i am very pleased with the boat do a lot of salt water trolling has been a good boat for me not one failure with the boat. hope you enjoy yours like i have mine. best of luck lurch 2!!!

STEVE I PURCHASED A USED 1996 23W/A EXCELL LAST YEAR AND AMAZINGLY EVERY THING WORKS I LOVE IT.THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE GELCOAT IS OLD AND IT STAINS EASILY .

I have a 1998 Wellcraft 23 walkaround and have loved it but I had a recent little problem my right front windshield was broken. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one.

I bought mine new in 1995. I'm pretty happy with it except for a few details. No access to anything under the deck. Macerator froze up, it's done, cant get to it. Access plate in deck above gas tank does not line up with tank plate so I cant replace faulty gas gauge sending unit. Poor drainage of fishboxes. Fishbox fiberglass covers started to crack 2 years after buying boat. Non-marine hardware in cushions left rust streaks all over the deck. Just lot's of little oversights that I would'nt expect from a builder like Wellcraft.
