Re: wellcraft sunhatch???
I had an 84 sunhatch 196 for many years used it in all types of weather conditions, I never really had the same problem you are describing. In big waves and high winds I would get soaked from all the bow spray blowing back into the boat. I spent a number of nights high and dry in that little cutty. Are the runners/tracks for the hatches the teak strips that run the lenghth of the bow? I refurbished mine and when I did I noticed therte were small relief holes that would let the water out, make sure they are not plugged, also take some marine tex or similar and form a small dam at ends by the dash or use beads of silicone to form barriers. In high seas the bow is probably up which funnels all of that water right back towards the windshield makes it tought just due to the design of the sliding hatches. Mine was an outboard model which helped to motor along at low speeds without the bow being so high in the air. Other than having to redo the transom, that was a very solid boat I miss it alot.
