marine starters are not the same. dont be fooled into thinking they are. the differences dont always justify the extra cost of ""marine" but they are different.

yes the store owner kept trying to sell me a starter made for a car .....and i kept telling him it had to be made for a boat ....he was like trust me.....im like no the coast guard says...blahh..............any way he finaly called his starter rebuild place and they told him then he belived it...........have to keep persistant..
