Were to find Info about Evinrude 1994?

i just bought a 1994 Evinrude 120, and i would like to know if there is some site on internet were i can find info about that engine?
is there some way to identify the engine with serialnumber etc?
it was said to be a 1995 model by the dealer, but in Evinrude:s partcatalog, there is no 120 newer than -94?
