18HP WEST BEND SHARK MOTOR<br />I would really like some help finding a resolution to my spark problem with my 18hp West Bend Shark motor. It will not spark at all. I have removed the mag and all looks well underneath, but still no spark. Is there some place I can purchase points and condensor for it???? Or is there a way to test for any current what so ever?

Sounds like you have a magneto type. You will need to verify magnetism on the flywheel. Take an ohmmeter and check the coil and verify that the points are opening and closing and gaped correctly. If all this is done itshould reveal the problem.
