I have a West Bend "Golden Shark" 40. MDL. # 40963 SN.# 3083. I'm looking for information as to what year motor this and how many horse and possible value.

Motor is a 59,40 hp.Value is very subjective.A west bend fan might pay a little more than the average boater.Comepleteness is very important
A comeplete non running motor might get $25 to $50.A pristine restored motor about $400.These prices could vary widely.Peter Hunns outboard book
circa 1994 has West Bend over 12 hp at $125-$200.
