What’s the best way to fix this drain?

We’re restoring a boat (mostly consmetic) but accidentally pulled on this old hose and it snapped. Its a drain hole on the back deck.
I didn’t realize it would do harm until I got the back part of the boat into the water and the hull started filling up very quickly. The bilge pump was pumping out so much water so I knew it was getting in somewhere.
I am an amateur at boat repairs. This is just a for fun take it out to sit on the lake and fish kind of boat. So my first thought was seal off that drain hole. There is another drain hole in the back that works fine. Or attempt to replace the hose but I can’t really see into the boat at all and see where the hose is connected to.
I’ll attach pics of the hose that broke, the drain, and the hole that it drains to the back of the boat.

It looks like there are 4 screws holding the thru hull flange to the transom?.. If u remove the thru hull fitting, feed a new hose thru the drain to the thru hull and attach it to both the fitting and the drain with 2 hose clamps on each, reseal the thru hull and drain with 3m 4200 or 5200.

That would be the best way to fix it right.

I don't see anything right here. Why would you have any drain out below the
draft?
