We were out on the water fishing. The Coho jumping all around us. The sizes anywhere from about foot to about two feet long. Some of these fish were right beside the boat. They just would not bite my hook. We tried everything we had. I think i would have had better luck with my shot gun.
Man it just drove me nuts. You know when you look at your fish finder and see hundreds of blips with no bites. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA:eek:

Wow, that IS frustrating.

Reason #36 that I don't fish...

Although, I kinda wished we had some fishing poles yesterday. The water was too choppy to even tube on, but there were fish jumping everywhere! It would have given us SOMETHING to do, while we waited around hoping the water would calm back down (which it never did )...

Next time nothing will jump and you will walk away with a limit of good fish. :D

Ouch!! Man that can make for a long week, Chief. Hopefully it wasn't the recent Key West trip. Also, looks as if that trip was sandwiched in between hurricanes.

What is more frustrating is not being able to fish because the fishing season was closed two months early, again.

I think that I'll change my signiture to "If you work for the government, you are the problem."

Re: What a frustrating day

On a recent trip to my local river, I actually had a fish jump and hit my bobber... not just once, but twice that day... no bites either...

Oh well, it was still a calm and peaceful time. Watched the hawks, the gators, and all the jumping fish. Listened to whatever was making all the noise in the woods. Better than work by a long shot...
