whats is your favourite beer?

I lean towards the slightly darker side, i like Killians Red, Fat Tire and Shiner Bock.
when i can't get those i'll go for Samuel Adams or Amstel.
I'm not a fan of pilsner largers.
It's called a Widget (I jest ye not!) and it's there to help the gases when you open the bottle/can so that it (allegedly) tastes like a draught just been poured at the pub: cost millions to develop and pennies to makeOriginally posted by 18R:
I like the brews from the U.K. with the plastic toy inside; Guiness, Murphys and a few others from England, Scotland and Ireland.
If ever you are over this side of the pond JB you have to visit the Bass Brewery in Burton-on-Trent. It may have somthing to do with transport, but the pint that they serve at the brewery bar is better than any I have tasted.Originally posted by JB:
Hmmmm. Except for Bass, there are no ales on my preferred list.

The widget also contains nitrogen. While most beers are carbonated only with co2, Guinness uses a mixture of co2 and nitrogen to get that creamy head.Originally posted by Stan_Deezy:
It's called a Widget (I jest ye not!) and it's there to help the gases when you open the bottle/can so that it (allegedly) tastes like a draught just been poured at the pub: cost millions to develop and pennies to makeOriginally posted by 18R:
I like the brews from the U.K. with the plastic toy inside; Guiness, Murphys and a few others from England, Scotland and Ireland.![]()
