I am finalizing a deal on a 2002 Merc Bigfoot 60 hp tomorrow. The pontoon boat is set up for a 2008 Bigfoot. I'll need the 14 pin to 9 pin adapter. What is the difference between these two motors? What are the other pins for? The '02 is very low hours and checked over entirely by a Merc technician. and a LOT less money than a new one.
