What are these plugs for?

All of my mid 70s 25hp motors have them and I've got no clue what they go to.

No. Right now it's idled so low it dies when I throttle it all the way down.
What does the kill switch look like? Does it short the plugs to ground? Where did it mount?

P.S. This motor is apparently a 1975 model, not a 74.

The kill switch is just a push button mounted down low on the front of the cowling. You could remotely run one also. If you short those 2 wires out, it will die.

The wires are for the kill switch. Looking at the front of the motor, the choke should be on the left and the kill switch on the right. You may have a rich/lean knob in the center. You can remote wire a new switch or if it is a tiller, replace the existing switch. It looks like the switch is there in your picture, but I'm not sure. I would replace it anyway with a lanyard style kill switch for safety's sake. I just replace my push button kill switch with a lanyard style switch on my '72 25hp sportster. It was like $10 on iboats and took about 5 minutes to install.

Do I short the 2 wires together to kill the motor or short them individually or together to the engine case (ground)? I plan to install a beadman style switch with a lanyard as y'all suggested.

P.S. the kill switch is missing on all my 25hp motors.

Short them to each other - that is all the stock switch did.

Thanks a lot. That's what I needed to know.
