The best plug to use is the exact one that the manufacturer specifies for that motor with the correct gap. If that's the Ngk bu8h go with it. If not find out which one is spec'd for that motor.

Um, NGK makes more than one plug don't they? Use the wrong one and you can burn a hole in your pistons- always a good time.

I stick to the rule of using exactly what the manufacturer recommends. If its says Champion, i use them.

NGK can be substituted providing its the right one and with the right heat range.

Red Snappa is right, too hot and you could be asking for trouble.

In my last engine, I ran NGK (proper heat range) over the recommended Champions. Switched back to Champions on the next plug change and stuck with them. Neither provided me any benefit over the other.
