This is the same alternator yet. Napa tested and it worked fine on the bench tester.I reinstalled the alternator but instead of connecting the original orange wire that went to the starter i ran a new wire from the alt to the battery. I still have the orange wire hooked up to the starter just taped and wire tied away from metal

When you run a new orange wire to the starter, as per original, you might want to clean all connections to the starter.
