What did you get for your wife/SO for Xmas

After reading the gift wrapping thread and having this very same conversation with a friend this morning on how he was agonizing on what to get his wife, I thought it might be fun to hear what all of you have done for your wives/SO's this year..

As for me, I bought my wife one of those new IPOD nanos - the green one becuase thats her favorite color - to take to the gym. She always takes mine and never returns it. So I think she will like it.. I got it with my credit card points, but I don't think that will matter.

I also plan to buy her a George Foreman grill. I will put the IPOD into the gill package. There's nothing like watching my wife open an appliance on Christmas Morn..

So lets here it.. Maybe you could help someone out with your inspiration.

my SO, is getting a large Circuit City Gift Card, she wants a built in Sirius radio. we have the portable but they are crap.

Well this year I got her a new Cherry wood poster Bedroom suit complete with dresser and chest of drawers. But I'm gonna need a dang ladder to get into the tall thang. Oh yeah almost forgot after twenty years of hearing about that ugly floor in the bedroom I installed new carpet.

Well,i did get her a GPS for her car..she gets lost everywhere she goes.
I still have to hit the mall this week for the Bath and Body place and other girlie stuff..

I know three things about women and two of them are wrong.

The one that is right is that you never go wrong buying the love of your life jewelry.

LOML is getting an amethyst and gold necklace I picked up at an estate auction.

I took her to the new Cabela's in Reno and we stocked up on necessities and gifts.

well we're not really buying for each other this year since we're building the boathouse....but I did get her an enamel coated cast iron dutch over.....she's been wanting one for a while....man...them things aren't cheap....

Much to my surprise, she wanted a GPS for her car. Bought it at Amazon.
Garmin Nuvi 200W for $219 with free shipping. Best price I've seen. Already have it programmed so she's good to go when she opens it.
Now, will that Garmin Fishfinder be under the tree???
Just for points, I backed that up with jewelry. You learn after 35 years of marriage.

I was at a Christmas party last week and a guy told me he bought his wife a diamond watch and a Rolls Royce. I asked ,why the Rolls Royce? He said, If lovey doesnt like the watch she has a Roll's to return the watch to the store. He then asked what I bought my wife. I replied," I got her a pair of flip-flops and a marital aid." If she don't like the flip flops she can go .....self edited.

I got her a John Deere Barbie she wanted. She got me a table top popcorn popper that I wanted. She had it shipped to the shop since we live at the end of a long drive. The parts guys opened it and gave it to me without looking at the name on the box. She was ticked off.

And Alpaca sweater that she is already wearing - SHE will wrap it and put it under the tree . Then she told me that I got her a blouse and a new pair of shoes - wrapped and under the tree by her. That is all she thinks she is getting - but she is also getting a nice amethyst (her birth stone) and diamond necklace. Like others said - can't go wrong with jewelry!
