K.M.<br />Another important point to remember. <br />The designers of American boats made the largest selling sized pleasure boats in the world a matter of a few inches wider than a shipping container, which probably killed their export potential by about 95%
<br />Up till these Roll On/Roll Off ships (and there are not a lot of them) these pleasure boats had to have craddles made up for them and travelled on top of containers (there is a term for it), which pushed up the price and the number that could be carried. When you got your boat here, you then had to get a local made trailer.<br />I priced all this out about 18mths back and it was expensive, confusing, nightmare...I just gave up.<br />So by using this line I have mentioned, I understand it is a very easy/simple operation.<br />Cheers<br />Phillip
