Hi i just bought my second boat in Rayway, NJ and i was wondering what do i need to haul it would a Bill Of Sale be good? or would i need something else?

it depends on the state you bought it in, and the state you are taking it to. if the selling state is a title state you need the title.

i looked around it and looks like New Jersey started to title. heres what i've found, ( All motorboats and sailboats 12 feet or more in length - Effective June 15, 1987. ) Arkansas only requires a bill of sale to register your boat.
