Nice boat. I will move this to the proper section.

You might want to consult with Dhadley in the prop section about the best brop for pulling a wakeboarder. I know the key for you will be in the prop.

Welcome to iboats! Good luck with your new boat!

Did you install the tower yourself? How long did that take you?

yes i did. well, me and one friend installed it it took us about 4 1/2 hrs but we were drinking more beer then really working. it really helps to have 3 people doing it. i bought my tower from avengerwakesports.com they are really nice guys and the tower is really good!

The more beers you drink the clearer the instructions get. haha

Do you want to give us a basic rundown of what you had to do?? Hole saw thru the gunwhale? How do you support the added weight and torque applied by the tower??

Also what did you use for the graphics?? obviously you removed the OEM graphics...what are the replacements made out of? are they painted on or just a vinyl graphic like from a sign shop??

the more beer the better!

well it was not hard to do at all. lot of measuring and then drill the holes. the tower came in with an assembled H-brace and four tubes that were prebent, very simple install! just make sure you have a good drill bit. sorry it is not very detailed but there is not much to it. the total shipping weight was 67lbs. so it does not add much weight to the boat. as far as the supporting it on the boat, the kit comes with backing plates so there is no need to make your own.

i own a shop that does vinyl stickers, shirts, etc... so i just ordered a chrome vinyl and it has a black outline that is another layer. they say the shelf life on the chrome is a year so i figure if it looks bad in a year i will do something else

Awesome...It looks less involved than I thought.

The vinyl graphics are going on soon...I just gotta get something drawn up and take it down to the sign place here...It helps that my boss' daughter owns a sign-a-rama franchise and we do a lot of their metal work.

Looks great and happy boating

Congrats. The graphics and tower make the boat. Assuming 3.0. I'm not 100% sure you will need a different prop. Afterall a wakeboard has got a ton of surface area for pushing you up on plane and you have the leverage from the tower height.

Curious if you have to put a white nav light on the tower? Post how you run your speaker wires and how it collapses with the wires inside the tubing. That's one of my upcoming projects. Thanks.

i am going to drill one hole in the bottom and 4 in the top to string the wires through. i will put a grommet on each of the holes so it does not cut through the wire. i was told to drill a small hole in the boat to put wire through. im going to run it through the rear one so that when i collapse the tower it does not cause a problem. you will just need to leave a little extra wire at that joint.

specking as an auto tech thats done alot of custom electrical work for stuff like will chair lifts belt loaders johnny gates ect. you are going to want to put those wires in something clear tubing or wire guard both with work well i say if at all possible drill your holes so the wire guard or tubing fit snugly inside the rail and can just slid in tower tube as you take it up and down

Nice work. You pretty much turned a base Bayliner into a Flight Series one. Looks great!

i thought about doing something like that but the tower will only be taken down once a year and hell im not sure if i will even have this boat in a year or 2. i am thinking about upgrading already just becasue i i like different stuff. i do the same with my drag cars.

Even better. That setup looks very appealing. I'm interested in the results.

Nice work, I inquired about vinyl for naming our boat (Lithium Rx) and my sign shop told me the chrome will fade to white if it's exposed to a lot of sunlight. So you may be right. Otherwise pretty cool...
