What do you all use

to secure your steering wheel when trailering your boat so your Outboard doesn't swing from side to side? I'm using a string to tie it in place right now. Thought I would check to see if there is anything else out there to use instead of string. Thanks for help everyone. John

My transom savers always inhibited the outboards from wobbling.

Put a bungee cord on it and you won't have to re-tie it all the time.

Check out http://www.lock-n-haul.com. This new style transom saver will solve this problem plus a few more.

i use nothing because i have a no feedback steering system.

I do not tilt my OB up enough for it to swing. I tilt it up maybe 6 inches, to gain a bit of ground clearance.

I don't need no stinkin transom savers, as I have PTT.
