Bought a new boat, time to wire up the radio and depth finder. Saw on another boat a part made of stainless steel that wires run through to seal out the weather. Cant find where to buy this because i don't know what it is called. Also, is there one item thats better than others?
Thanks for your help.

Re: What do you call this part?

Found the part you were referring to. Not the part I saw on this boat. The part I saw was about 3" round with the center cut out and replaced with what looked like a very soft and pliable grommet looking thing. When you pushed the wires through the center, the soft material would close around the wires and keep the weather out. Thanks

Re: What do you call this part?

Thanks Silvertip. Worked like a charm. Installed it this weekend, looks much better than just a hole drilled through the side of my center console. If they only made one big enough to pull my depht finder wiring through.
