I know this is going out to the world so I am being somewhat reclusive.<br /><br />Retired from 36 years with a Fortune 500 company involved in keeping you safe.<br /><br />Electromechanical education/aptitude/experience in airborne, auto, industrial, agricultural and marine engines and drive systems, and mechanical/electrical/electronic systems.<br /><br />First boat before my first car, 13 years old (pulled it with mothers 51 Ford 2 door Custom). <br /><br />Had over a dozen over the years; rebuilding 3 or 4. Each had it's own personality, likes and dislikes. <br /><br />Currently like them simple and rugged, but not too simple. Got used to the electric start, steering wheel, and remote controls. Additionally, padding to quiet the ride is a plus and like some Vee to the hull for softness.<br /><br />Have a 2 acre lake at home so I primarily go to the local 1000 acre lake to "show my arse" er. ah. race around in my tin lizzie. If I want to catch fish home is where they are.<br /><br />Like the small water because I had enough rough water to last me a lifetime. Been on 2 oceans and the GOMexico.<br /><br />Find this forum stimulating and busy.
