well, im almost done my 14 footer, and I loved working on it, so what do you think about this one?

I am pretty good with everything on an outboard besides electric,(huge learning curve in the last few months:p) so I plan on checking through it thoroughly, maybe bringing a compression tester, yada yada. I love working on the boat itself. As far as price, what would you guys be sitting at here?

Re: what do you guys think about this project

For me, I'd approach like this...
Motor does NOT run and will cost Minimum of $500 to get it to run, if at all.
No Trailer soooo.....That's gunna be another $3-500 bucks
Needs Foamed and decked and again pessimist me, New Transom $300
Paint and Interior and misc.... $500

I'd go and offer $500 and MAYBE go to $600. You would then When all is said and done, have a pretty nice "Tinny" for $2 to 2.5K

I am not a "Tinny" so you might want to wait for them to come along and "Shoot" my logic "Out of the Water" so to speak!!!:p

No trailer and motor condition unknown I would use those as bargaining chips, and try to get it for around $500 Looks like some fresh welds on the transom too I would take a close look at those and make sure they are solid.

Pass on that boat. There is some info here on the site on that hull. (cut and welded transom is the issue)

That dude ruined that hull. Leave it where it sits. Plenty of better tinnie projects out there.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I was wondering myself what the pic of the back of the boat was about. Im not a welder, so if its not riveted, I dont wanna fix it.
