I pull my 1994 180 scr monterey with a 2002 3/4 ton Suburban with an 8.1 litre and 4.10 rear end. Never know it is there. It is rated for 12,000 lbs. Man I need a bigger boat.

2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax. It's way overkill for the boat. And 1972 Chevy C20 Cheyenne Super. Check out a couple pics in my profile.

17ft arrow glass with 3.0L Mercruiser. It's either towed by my 2000 Silverado 5.3 with 4.10s or the parents 99 Suburban with the 5.7.

...El Burro Blanco. Plain-jane, white, lease-return 2008 Silverado 2500 with 4.10 locker rear end and 6 litre MPI.

Had a buddy pull my "new" boat to the house. 1994 1720 CC Key West with a 75 Mariner and Alumilite trailer. Maybe 2200 pounds or so I'm guessing. Want to be sure that my 2002 Highlander front wd with v6 and towing package will be able to handle it on the ramp. Dont want to get wife and small kiddos on the water and not be able to get off...so to speak. Comments?

I tow a lund pro v with my 2001 F250 SD 7.3 ltr diesel with a few extra goodies added. Never a problem on the road or at the ramp.

My Chaparral is 20'3" on a tandem axle EZ Load'r trailer. I pull it without issues (other than a renegade deer, recently). I pull with my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4X4 with Off Road Package which includes 5.9L engine, Dana 12 bolt rear with 410 gears, factory lift and 17" wheels, to which I've added 35" BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. My truck has the factory towing package, and the trailer has surge brakes. You can read about the deer incident in the thread, "Season's over?...NNAAHHH!!!". Sorry, I should have learned how to add the link before writing this, but I'll do that right after I post, if I don't get called away. The trailer didn't even fishtail. I just felt it shift as I heard the dull thud... But anyway, pulling is a breeze. Happy and safe Boating/pulling to all!!!

For the Durango owners I will add that I have a 2000 4.7L and I am pulling a 2006 Tracker Pro Guide V16 and don't really know that it is back there. I will admit that my 1995 Yukon was a little better but I have no complaints. There is no unnecessary downshifts and the braking is good too.

2002 nissan frontier crew cab 4x4 v6 a/t pulls my 12ft polar craft jon boat with 15hp johnson on a modified harbor freight trailer. It's not the prettiest boat or trailer by far, but i can drop it anywhere literally i have dropped her off a 4ft drop to fish in a pinch it will let me push through the cat tails i have gotten some of the strangest looks that way. for the fishing i do it is the perfect rig.

I have a 20.5 ft open bow fiberglass speed boat that I was pulling with a 96 Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep has a 4.0 straight six and had plenty of pulling power but due to the rather short wheel base the boat seemed to be able to push it around a bit. As of last week my new pulling vehicle is a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. I took the boat out for a short drive and was very pleased with the results. I didn't hardly know the boat was back there. Plenty of pulling and stopping power without feeling like I was getting tossed or pushed around.

2004 Kia Sorento 4x4. V-6 with 5 speed

I have pulled a 1980 Champion 18' Bass Boat and also a 1972 Starcraft Holiday 18'.

Pulls the Colorado mountains to the lake at 50 MPH no problem. Speed limit is only 45.

I saw this thread one too many times and I couldn't resist. 1994 Chevy Silverado with the 5.7 350 V8 4x4. She's terrible on gas but she moves and pulls with plenty to spare.

I pull my 2005 Captiva 212 with a 06' Hummer H3 and it only has the I-5 torque engine........Boat is on dual axle trailer which make the long trips easy!!

I'm already getting bored guess I'm in trouble gonna be a LONG winter. But anyway I have actually brought the boat down to the river with this when I first got it. Minus the hay of course

I just picked up a 1971 aquasport 19' dirt cheap, and towed it almost 200 miles with my 03' Ram 1500 Hemi. Had no problems.
