Turkey and Ham here. My wife and I start the meal the night before preparing She will have the Turkey soaking in a secret mix of liquid in fridge for a day or so. The ham is cooking slowly overnite, she's up at 4 am to continue while I finish dreaming of fishing. We are the host house for the family and friends so we take pride in the fix'n and enjoy watching the family devoure a days work.
Love the left-overs for a week!...Yummmm...Muhahahahaaaa!

I really wanted to do a goose or a duck, but already having birds, so I did two legs of lamb on the rotisserie. Good contrast. Usually a ham or maybe roast beef as the alternative . . .

We had ham, turkey, and goose. They were finished off with green bean casserole, sweet potatoes (candied and mashed), mashed potatoes, corn, noodles, gravy, pickeled eggs, deviled eggs, pumpkin pie, lemon mirangue pie, chocolate mirangue pie, coconut creme pie, and pumpkin pie. Oh, and there was 7 layer salad and cucumber salad also. No one went away hungry and that fed 22.
