1999 Bay Liner 1750BR, I pull it with a 2004 2wd Regular Cab Chevy Pickup.

The 5.3L pulls it without skipping a beat.

with this:

2001 Expy XLT 2WD
4.6l Triton, Auto, 3.31ls gears

Not the ideal gear ratio for this combo, but gets the job done.

I wasn't sure wether to answer 4WD truck, SUV or other. I pull my Trophy 1802 WA with a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4 door). Despite the crappy 3.8 liter minivan engine, the Jeep pulls it no problem.

I tow my 1989 larson dc 190 with a 2007 chevy silverado 2wd and It works great. Every one said I would get stuck at the ramp but I have yet to. Thanks to my locking diff.

I tow my 1989 larson dc 190 with a 2007 chevy silverado 2wd and It works great. Every one said I would get stuck at the ramp but I have yet to. Thanks to my locking diff.

I have yet to even spin my tires over when pulling up the ramp.

With the Chevy's (4L60e trans) if you put it in 2nd it will take off in second generating less torque...it is designed for wet/snow covered roads. I use this on the ramps.

A 07 ford 2wd pulls a 21" cuddy with no problems. Got to watch some of the ramps around here though.

I pull everything with a 2004 chevy silverado. 5.3 vortec, 3.73 geared truck. Oh it also has 156K miles on it lol. There is a mustang parts car on a 16ft trailer hooked to it in the picture, just not viewable.

I pull a beat up old 70's vintage 14ft aluminum Gregor, with a beat up old 2 wheel drive 88 Jeep Comanche 6 pounder pickup. Both have seen better days, but so have I. We still get to places where no sane person would dare to go.

Or just press down the emergency brake a few clicks. Just enough to make the pads drag in first gear. This will ensure that the g-80 locker will do its job.

I do my towing with this. 05 King Ranch 5.4 with 3.73 gears most times I don't even know the 28 ft. trailer is back there till I hit the hills of WV.. My boat is a 71 Glastron sorry no pictures. I'll take some this weekend.

Since I have now just left the minivan club I can update my tow rig. I tow my 3,500lb Chaparral bowrider and trailer with a Buick Rainier SUV. The buick has a 5.3 liter V8, AWD, and 3.73 ratio with a 6,500 lb tow capacity. The difference between the SUV and the minivan is like the Seinfeld episode when Cramer joins the little kids karate dojo and dominates. In other words it is no contest.
