What does the red kill switch disable?

I’m certain it disables spark but does it also disable fuel injector pulse signal or disconnect the ECM somehow?

I am looking at a 1999 7.4 MPI.

Oem lanyard switch will disable ignition (purple) wire to the engine. Guages may still be powered up when off
