Re: What does your username stand for?

Kinda long drawn out obscure name...

My name is Scott C...and another guy named S. Cooper... sat next to me all through jr high and high school. alphabetical order. and he looked a bit like me, so the teachers always confused us, sitting next to each other through all our classes.

Anyways, early early in the internet days, I borrowed his name whenever any website or catalog asked for an email address, so I used scooper@aol.com. So scooper became my alter ego. Then we moved to Angleton, and the wife used our zip code in one of her online accounts, so I mixed scooper and our zip for scooper77515.

We don't live in 77515 anymore, but if you google scooper77515 you will get all kinds of my online stuff, including my Maverick build webpage, activity with the Seadooforum, and much else, so I have kept the username.

I will forever after be "Scooper".

And I will always feel sorry for anyone who actually owns the scooper@aol.com email address...:D

But, I do know most of the Arabic curse words, and can call someone an a-hole in 5 different languages...and isn't that what is most important? ;)

I have a Scottish friend who can say: "Two beers please, my friend will pay." in 19 languages.

My username stems from my historic road racing motorcycle, a 1962 Triumph 650 engine in a 1959 Norton Featherbed frame. The II is there 'cause Triton was taken.

"emoney" is an oxymoron actually. The "e" represents my first name, Eric and the "money" is because I never have any and always need some. In actuality, the nickname was hung on me a couple of decades ago and regardless where I end up, someone always calls me "emoney". People that have never heard anyone else do it always think they are the 'original', but since I"m 46 years old now, and I've been called that since I was a teenager, I don't have a clue who started it.

My first Harley was an 883 Sportster. Which I later rebuilt as a full out chopper. Flat black, chopped fenders, 18" apehangers, 3' sissy bar and about 3" of ground clearance. Man that was old school and cool :)

25th = 25th anniversary.

Mustang = Mustang, the car.

I own a 25th anniversary Mustang, that actually had some "unique" markings on it indicating it was an anniversary car (xxv, roman numeral for 25) and when I repainted it, I incorporated the XXV into the pinstriping.

Wanted something witty, and with a 40 year old steel hulled houseboat, my biggest fear is waking up in the morning, sliding out of the bunk and finding myself with wet feet.

My first initial and how you pronounce my last name, Forney. When I was in the Navy people for some reason found it difficult to pronounce?!?!?! Anyway I took to holding up 4 fingers and pointing to my knee when someone would ask and say 4 knee.

In terms of shooting a firearm a minute of angle (for our purposes here) one inch at 100 yards. If you can shoot three rounds into a spot less than 1/2 inch at 100 yards, 3 inches at 600 yards, 4 inches at 800 yards etc (as I can) you shoot "half a minute of angle" or halfmoa.
