Re: What fluid for trim?
Is that a Stringer drive? Trim lifts the motor via rams as opposed to having rams attached to the outdrive (cylinders) and lifting the outdrive up or down (OMC Cobra). I have a stringer and have been told you can use power steering fluid, transmission fuild or a light weight motor oil. I just use the cheap super tech wal-mart tilt/trim fluid. If it is a Cobra drive it may call for something different but I just think buying the cheapo wal-mart trim fuild would be fine.
