What glue secures the charge coil to the lamination assembly?

Hey guys,
I'm replacing the coil only. What kind of glue should I use to secure the coil to the metal part? What do I use to remove the old glue and clean the metal part?

epoxy should do

removal depends on initial product used... try some heat to soften things up and scrape it of..

You may find shims holding it in place and you may need very little or even no glue.
