Re: What happened I'm not get emails anymore
FWIW, I am still getting email notification on new "Replies" to any thread I have replied to. I actually re-checked my existing ones last night and selected None, but all new are now responding to my Control Panel change as opposed to the Subscription list's individual thread command (check boxes). I have no way of telling you whether my situation is unique, but I am going to repeat what I have done and in what order and what the result was.
1) I changed email address.
Result: Prior to this I was not receiving any notifications on PMs or Reported Posts (Mod thing). I was not setup to receive email notifications for Replies to Subscribed Threads. I did begin to receive PM and Mod notifications via email after this change.
2) In an attempt to help you guys, I changed my Notification setting within my User Profile, General Settings to Instantly, using email (Post #8).
Result: This initially had no affect on anything for me. Nothing Zippo, Nada . . .
3) I changed a few (4) individual threads in my Subscribed List to Instantly, using email by checking the boxes to the right of those threads (Post #15)
Result: I immediately began to receive email notifications for those threads that I checked AND for all subsequent new threads that I replied to.
4) I have now re-checked all of those that were showing as Instantly and changed them to None
Result: I am not receiving email notifications for those threads, but I AM receiving email for any new threads that I reply to (I think this is what you actually want). I believe that the box checking/changing to Instantly kind of "primed the pump" and now all is flowing as should be considering item #2 above ^^^^^^
