I was trying to help a guy find all the information posted here on transom repairs and it now appears that every post prior to Sept., 05 is gone and no longer available. If this is true we lost a lot of valuable past information and resources.

I hope all those well thought out replies and answers to repair questions are not gone for good.

Let me know if I'm wrong...I still want to look up and read past posts on all subject matters. :(

I know! I have been trying to search for so many things! I know just about every question I have has already been answered a 100 times but when I search for it I always get nothing! I emailed Iboats.com and all they could tell me was that they are working on the forum.

Greg

When I find a post that has good info for me, I ususally print it. Sometimes I save it to my favorites, but printing is the best bet. I have come into the house and been able to look up what Realgun or some one else said in a folder on my desk without having to log on.

Just a thought.

I like the printing idea. All the the threads I previously saved as a Favorite are no longer working. Hopefully things return to normal soon.

Request to Moderator for an anwer to this question...

Is all of the great knowledge that was posted on this forum in all past sections now no longer available?

I'm finding that without the ability to research the past answers that the forum is less valuable as a resource tool. Is there any way to have that data restored?

Thanks, EZ

I was curious too. Not only do I miss being able to look up stuff, but I keep getting told "to do a search yourself" in new posts, like I hadn't already tried that.
