Knowing why its locked would help for future reference. Is it because it got so far off the original topic?

Hey... for once we agree 8)

I too would like to know the reasoning behind the action although my guess is that the posters were holding up their hands and asking how many fingers do you see, and the like, so they locked it.

Hey, supposedly we are all adults here, and the posters did appear to be "under the weather" so to speak... and I'd bet if it were unlocked things would settle down.

It was a good thread IMHO.

Locked... unlocked... locked again...you guys have a bi-polar condition?

"Hey, supposedly we are all adults here, "

Not a good definition of a Family Friendly site.

Assuming there are children present is not license to act like children.

That thread, as well as the name calling contest about the President's speech are both on the ragged edge of becoming vapor.

Guess I can't disagree with you there, probably why it's an unspoken rule not to discuss politics or religion with family or at the bar.

But the discussion will go on... hopefully with less "grog" influencing the verbiage.
