Hey all,
got my new-2-me motor and it has two places I can connect my steering rod. Which one do I use? Does it matter? Should I use the one the gives the best arrangement for the steering cable?

BTW, this is an 88 Suzuki DT150 Super Six.

Okay, now here's a funny one for you: This picture is essentially the same motor, just a bit older but also a Suzuki, this one just happens to be a DT200 instead of the 150. Same engine. Same block even, if I remember right. But, the older, bigger one does not have the second steering connection.

Thoughts, comments, opinions greatly appreciated. I really need to know which hole to stick it in.

don't know that it would matter, but my inclination is to use the outer hole.

It does matter. Use the one closest to the motor. The outer one is for a dual engine tie bar.

It matters because using the outer one will not give full steering arc.

Try to learn somethin' everyday. Thanks. I learned somethin'. Never even thought about that. Much appreciate the response.
