The point is, the difference between cheap gas and $3 gas is not a huge sum of money. The only people it will actually cause hardships to are those who are barely living paycheck to paycheck. I don't like paying 3 bucks a gallon, but I'm not going to do anything more than roll my eyes. People complaining about filling their $50,000 Suburban just make me laugh....

It's funny how a person's priorities change during these times. I am willing to take my lunch more often rather than eat out every day in order to afford boat gas. There are usually many ways that most people can conserve money when you stop and think about it.
