Just teasin'....
The further ya go inland or the higher the elevation, the snow stays longer......
The snow melts quicker in Ballard, than say Lake City.....
Or out in the sticks, say Bothell......:)

'Round here the world stops turning for that much. News stations are all on 24 hour snow watch already. I love the endless footage of confused city commissioners talking about bus routes....

Hey Bro Haut, Me thinks you have a point there. I grew up in the Lake City area, (which has hills like the rest of Seattle), and I lived on a hill in Wedgwood, (li'l South of Lake City), for many years, soo got more snow then the lower areas did. I think the low parts of Lake City near Lake Washington are just as likely to melt early as some areas of Ballard. I remember when I was attending the UW, (that communist school a li'l South of Wedgwood), we had 18" + or - that hung for a long time. JR

dropped down to the low 50's today. Was over 70 when we had the boat out Sunday.
