That is what I wanted to find out and The Fujiwhara effect, sometimes referred to as Fujiwara interaction or binary interaction, is when two nearby cyclonic vortices orbit each other and close the distance between the circulations of their corresponding low-pressure areas. I am still prepping in case this thing moves a few degrees west because after reading 2 dozen weather webpages none of them said "just kidding, this is not really happening" like I was hoping.


Will the possible looping be caused by the binary "Fujiwhara effect" of Mathew and Nicole ???

Matthew is expected to eventually head back into the Atlantic after making its way up past Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. As a result, it could cross Nicole's path, which would see both storms interacting with one another, according to the Palm Beach Post.
