What is a fair deal when exchanging props at a shop?

I have an aluminum 14 1/2 by 19 three blade prop and a stainless 14 1/4 by 21 three blade prop both of which are too high a pitch for my boat. (wot of 4000 rpm with aluminum prop, should be 5400) I am heading for civilization next week and taking both props with my in the hopes of trading for smaller pitch. What can I reasonably expect in the way of a deal for exchanging these props? Or would I be better getting them repitched? Both props are in fair condition with only minor nicks.

Thanks in advance.

Sell them on ebay or trade them in if you can, don't expect much if you trade them in.

On ebay, good name-brand props in good shape go for USD 50-150, sometimes more. The better shape, the more specific the text, and the more pictures; the higher they go.

What kind of props are yours?

I never considered e-bay because of my location (Remote islands off west coast of British Columbia near Alaska). I would expect shipping charges are high.

I don't know what brand the props are, they came with the boat and I didn't notice any logos or such.

My neighbour uses ebay, maybe I should talk to her about shipping costs.

Thanks for your suggestions!
