Just so I know I'm on the same page here,

I am a boat guy, (self trained), I just don't know what the terms are. I would "assume" that it means syncing the timing with the throttle and ignition.

Is this right? No I'm not to lazy to do a Google search, just want to get an answer from the pros.

Re: what is a "linc n sinc"

my understanding is that yes..the linc and sync is the process of making sure the carbs are all acting at the same time..closed at idle and WOT at wide open..
I'm not 100% about the timing...I thought it was just a carb syncronisation process..
