what is capacity?

all right.. i have a 73 lund in all its "70's" green glory.. problem is that the capacity tag seems to be missing.. i have looked all over the place and cannot seem to find it anywhere.. the numbers on the back of the hull are SLBF1036M73H.. Can anyone tell me what the capacity is? Im assuming that if i can identify it that lund may send me a new tag for a reasonable cost.
Its licensed as owners responsibility but im told told that if i should get checked that they will want to see the tag here in Iowa.

Your boat was made by a subsidiary of Lund, called Shell Lake Boats.

Shell Lake went out of business in 2005.
But you should be able to order a capacity plate from Lund, just by providing the hull id number. They should have all the info about that boat, just by looking at the id number.

here's a lot of info from uscg. on my restorations, that lack plates i have David make mine. also hull numbers for homemade regustered.

Lund is a great company and very helpful. However, I recently wrote to them concerning the year of manufacture for my Lund pre-1976 serial number and their records don't go back that far.
